Thesis statement: the terrain of US and China shows many similarities and differences.

Type: Block Organization

Similarities:
1. Both of the countries are near the ocean.
2. There are two parts outside the mainland in both countries
3. Both of the countries have some peninsular.
4. Both of the countries are full of many kinds of terrains. (Highlands, plain)

Differences:
1. The distribution of the main mountains
2. US: both sides are near the ocean China: only the east side is near the ocean
3. The shape of main rivers ( US : vertical China: horizontal )
4. The distribution of different types of terrains.
5. The distribution of the main fresh water lakes of the two countries.
